EnneAgraM

Wavetable, granular and sampler synthesis — built on harmonic geometry.

Three deep oscillators, a wavetable editor that turns images and audio into sound, a multi-zone sampler, 25 filter models and 15 effects in one instrument.

The full engine · 100 factory presets · no time limit
Full version coming to Windows and macOS

EnneAgraM voice page: three oscillators, envelopes, LFOs, filters and modulation routing, with the Golden Spiral preset loaded

Three oscillators, three worlds

Every oscillator is a complete sound source of its own — and you can switch what it is at any moment.

Wavetable

256-frame tables with a start / end scan range and cubic or linear interpolation. 147 tables in the demo — or make your own in the editor.

Sample

Play any audio file: loop forward or backward, ping-pong, reverse or one-shot, with its own root note. Drop several samples at once and the oscillator holds them all as a multi-sample — WT Position steps through them, and in granular mode the grains blend smoothly from one to the next.

Granular

A cloud of grains from the wavetable or the sample, blended with the dry oscillator — unison still works on top.

And every oscillator has

  • Unison up to 16 voices with 9 detune curves — standard, Fibonacci, Tesla 369, prime, Pi, Lucas, wide, harmonic and custom — plus blend, stereo spread, analog drift and random phase.
  • Spectral morph in 12 flavors: harmonic stretch, inharmonic, smear, randomize, Fibonacci shift, phi scale, low- and high-pass, phase disperse, vocode, formant scale and Shepard tone.
  • Three stacked spectral warps that bend the harmonic series itself — shift, stretch, mirror, comb and more.
  • A shaper (clip, fold, crush, FM), a sub-oscillator, keytracking, glide, velocity sensitivity, phase and pan.
  • Cross-modulation: FM between all three oscillators and ring modulation.
  • Its own routing into any of the three filters and the effects, alongside a noise oscillator with color control.
  • Audio input as a source: play your voice or any sound through the synth — mix, vocoder, pitch tracking or hard tune.

Draw it, sculpt it — or turn a picture into sound

The wavetable editor shows exactly what you hear: 256 frames of 2048 samples, in 3D, from the top and from the side.

Wavetable editor after Image to Wave: the EnneAgraM symbol embossed into the wavetable, visible in the 3D and top views
Image to Wave. We dropped the EnneAgraM symbol on the editor — it is now part of the sound.

Image to Wave

Drop any picture on the editor and it becomes a playable wavetable. Four ways to read it:

  • Grayscale — brightness becomes the height of the wave, frame by frame.
  • Spectrum — columns are frames, rows are harmonics, brightness is level.
  • RGB Harmonics and Polar Scan for colorful and circular images.

And much more

  • Sculpt the surface with a brush, draw single frames, edit the spectrum harmonic by harmonic.
  • Load an audio file (WAV, FLAC, MP3) and turn it into a wavetable.
  • Generate shapes, stack layers, spectral-morph between frames.
  • Interpolate, normalize, mirror, invert, phase-align and seam-blend whole tables — with full undo.

One instrument, many ways to make sound

Every part of EnneAgraM is meant to be played with — not hidden behind menus.

Multi-zone sampler

Key and velocity zones in a visual zone matrix, articulations, legato, humanize, SFZ instrument import and convolution with 37 impulse responses. Drop a handful of WAVs and it pitch-detects each one and maps them across the keyboard as a multi-sample.

Filters with character

25 models: clean state-variable, ladder, diode, comb and formant — and the Sacred family, harmonic sieves tuned to Fibonacci, Lucas, prime, 369, Pi and golden-ratio series.

15 effects, your order

Gate, EQ, filter, distortion, compressor, chorus, delay, reverb, flanger, phaser, bitcrusher, ring mod, granular, transient shaper and auto-wah — drag to reorder.

Modulation everywhere

8 LFOs with a shape library, 6 multi-stage envelopes, random generators, 4 macros and a matrix with 400+ destinations. MPE ready.

Tuning and resonance

Scala (.scl / .tun) microtuning with Turkish makam, Arabic maqam and Indian raga scales, an A = 432 Hz reference, binaural beats and a chakra panel of 12 Solfeggio-frequency tones. More below →

Arpeggiator and presets

A pattern arpeggiator with 60 patterns, and 100 factory presets across pads, keys, leads, basses, arps, plucks, chords, cinematic, granular and signature sounds.

Hear it

Factory presets, played and rendered by the instrument itself.

No DAWNo mastering Every clip on this page is EnneAgraM’s own render. Afterwards only one fixed volume level per clip, a short fade-out and MP3 encoding — no compressor, no limiter.

One sampler, a whole orchestra

The sampler streams big multi-sampled instruments from disk and plays them through EnneAgraM's own filters and effects. Load SFZ libraries or your own samples — these were played on a grand piano, strings, brass, harp, percussion and a pipe organ.

No DAWNo mastering Each instrument part was rendered by EnneAgraM and the parts were added together at fixed levels.

Rendered in EnneAgraM's sampler with its built-in reverb, delay, distortion, chorus and compressor; the parts of each piece were summed at fixed levels — no DAW, no mastering. The instrument libraries are free third-party SFZ sets and are not included in EnneAgraM: Accurate-Salamander Grand Piano (Chisato Yamauchi, after Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander Holm, CC BY 3.0), VSCO 2 Community Edition (Versilian Studios, CC0) and Virtual Playing Orchestra 3 (Paul Battersby). The toccata is the opening of J. S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565.

432 Hz, chakras and binaural beats

For meditation, healing-frequency and ambient work, EnneAgraM has a resonance toolkit built into the engine — not bolted on as an effect.

Tuning panel with Master Tune at minus 31.8 cents for A equals 432 Hz and a 6 Hz binaural beat, next to the chakra panel with the Crown tone at 639 Hz lit
A = 432 Hz, a 6 Hz binaural beat and the Crown tone (639 Hz) switched on.
  • A = 432 Hz reference. One click in the menu retunes the whole instrument — oscillators and sampler — from concert pitch to 432 Hz.
  • Chakra panel. Twelve Solfeggio tones on a seated lotus figure: Earth Star 147, Root 174, Sacral 258, Solar 285, Heart 369, High Heart 396, Throat 417, Third Eye 528, Crown 639, Causal 741, Soul Star 852 and Star Gate 963 Hz. Switch a tone on and it sounds with every note you play — or continuously with Drone — through the oscillators, filters and effects, with its own volume.
  • The frequencies stay exact. At A = 432 Hz the keyboard retunes, but a 528 Hz tone still plays 528 Hz.
  • Binaural beats from 0 to 40 Hz between the left and right ear. The scope shows the beat and names its band — delta, theta, alpha, beta or gamma. Best on headphones.
  • Solfeggio Lock snaps the filter cutoff to Solfeggio frequencies, and the Sacred filters tune their harmonic sieves to Fibonacci, 369, Pi and golden-ratio series.

Listen — recorded at A = 432 Hz with a chakra tone

Factory presets at 432 Hz, each with one chakra tone and a gentle binaural beat. Use headphones for the binaural effect.

No DAWNo mastering Rendered straight from EnneAgraM — the 432 Hz tuning, the chakra tone and the binaural beat are all the instrument itself.

Inside

The demo is the whole instrument

Early access. We’re releasing the demo first to hear from musicians before the full version — what you love, what’s missing, what breaks. Your feedback shapes the full release.

Nothing is switched off in the sound engine, there is no time limit and no noise bursts. Play it as long as you like.

  • Full engine: every oscillator, filter, effect and modulator
  • 100 factory presets
  • 147 wavetables, sampler instruments and 37 impulse responses
  • 120 LFO and envelope shapes, 60 arp patterns, 37 tunings
  • VST3 plugin and standalone application — play it with your mouse or computer keyboard, no DAW or MIDI keyboard needed

What the demo can't do: save — presets, wavetables, kits and shapes can't be saved, only the 100 factory presets can be loaded, and a DAW project reopens the demo at its initial sound.

No MIDI keyboard? Play it with your computer keyboard

In the standalone app your typing keyboard plays notes right away (Computer Keyboard in the main menu ☰ switches it off). Two letter rows become a piano: the bottom row starts at C3, the top row at middle C. The arrow keys move the octave up or down, [ and ] play softer or louder. You can also just click the on-screen keyboard.

Questions

I’ve never used a synth. Can I just try it?

Yes — you don’t need a DAW or a MIDI keyboard. Install the demo, open EnneAgraM Demo from the Start menu (that’s the standalone app), pick a preset and play. Click the on-screen keyboard with your mouse, or just play your typing keyboard — it’s on by default in the standalone app (Computer Keyboard in the main menu ☰ switches it off): the Z and Q rows are the white keys, the rows just above them the black keys, the arrow keys change the octave, and [ and ] play softer or louder (see the keyboard map).

Is the demo time-limited?

No. There is no time limit and the sound is never interrupted. The only thing the demo can't do is save.

Can I use the demo in a song?

You can play and record it as much as you like. Because the demo can't save, a DAW project reopens it at its initial sound — render or record your parts to audio.

Why a demo first?

EnneAgraM is in early access: we want to hear from musicians before the full release. Use Send Feedback in the plugin menu or write to support@enneagramdsp.com — every message is read, and it shapes the full version.

Will there be a Mac version?

Yes. The full version is coming to macOS as well as Windows. The early access demo is Windows-only for now — tick “I’m on a Mac” above and we’ll tell you when the Mac version is ready.

Can I install the demo next to the full version later?

Yes. The demo installs as “EnneAgraM Demo” and doesn't replace or interfere with the full version.

How were the sound examples made?

Every example was rendered by EnneAgraM itself — no DAW, no plugins, no mastering. The notes were sent to the instrument and its output was saved directly. After that each clip got one fixed volume level (so the examples play at a similar loudness), a short fade-out and MP3 encoding; there is no compressor or limiter on them. The sampler pieces are several EnneAgraM parts added together at fixed levels.

Are the grand piano and the orchestra in the demo?

No. Those examples use free third-party SFZ libraries (credited under the examples) that you can download and load into the sampler yourself. The demo ships with its own sampler instruments and 37 impulse responses.

Which plugin formats are supported?

The early access demo: VST3 on Windows (64-bit), plus a standalone application. The full version is coming to Windows and macOS.

How do I uninstall it?

Use Settings → Apps in Windows and remove “EnneAgraM Demo”. Presets and libraries in your EnneAgraM library folder (Documents\EnneAgraM, unless you chose another location during setup) are kept in case you've edited them; delete that folder to remove everything.
